Be careful what you start...

Conversations with designers about print techniques can sometimes go on a bit. Foil-blocked this, die-cut that, spot-varnished the other.

We're no different at Hush Creative - we love design, so obviously this stuff excites us - but where we do differ is how we actually use all these techniques. In fact, before we even begin flexing our design muscles, you might find us asking you quite a few questions. This part of the designer's role is as important as it is often overlooked. Part of a designer's role - and value - lies in asking questions. So, although you might think you know exactly what you want, this might be the time when we ask you to look at things differently.

Constructive discussions and healthy debate mean we can be certain we're not selling you some fancy embellishments or state-of-the-art effects for no good reason other than to impress you with our know-how. The point is to find out what works best for you, and to use it. (The point is to make sure the emperor's new clothes really are clothes.)
